Compound
1 ml of the drug contains:
active substance:
tetrizoline hydrochloride – 0.50 mg;
Excipients:
boric acid – 12.30 mg,
sodium chloride – 2.23 mg,
disodium edetate dihydrate – 1.00 mg,
benzalkonium chloride solution 50% – 0.20 mg (in terms of benzalkonium chloride – 0.10 mg),
sodium tetraborate – 0.57 mg,
purified water – 989.78 mg.
Indications
For adults and children over 2 years of age, it is prescribed to relieve swelling and hyperemia of the conjunctiva (redness of the eyes) that occurs due to allergies or caused by exposure to chemical and physical factors (smoke, dust, chlorinated water, light, cosmetics, contact lenses).
Children under 6 years of age are prescribed under the supervision of a doctor.
Use during pregnancy and breastfeeding
There are no data on the penetration of the drug through the placenta and into breast milk.
Considering the possibility of developing systemic side effects, the drug can be used during pregnancy and breastfeeding only if, in the opinion of the doctor, the expected benefit to the mother outweighs the potential risk to the fetus and child.
Contraindications
Children under 2 years of age.
How to take, course of administration and dosage
1 or 2 drops into the affected eye 2-3 times a day.
Continuous use of the drug for more than four days is not recommended.
Instructions for using the dropper bottle
The medicinal product is supplied in packaging that is protected from accidental opening by children.
When using the bottle for the first time, you must remove the tamper evident tape from the cap.
Press the top of the bottle cap while turning it counterclockwise. Remove the cap from the dropper bottle and invert the bottle.
Do not touch the tip of the bottle to any surfaces.
After use, screw on the cap of the dropper bottle.
Storage conditions
Store at a temperature not exceeding 30 °C.
Keep out of the reach of children.
